Day 8 - Back & Biceps and Killer Abs.
I got all reps for all exercises in Killer Abs. My midsection was scorched. This is a really intense ab routine, certainly not for the squeamish.
I saw improvement on most exercises in Back & Biceps. The combinations of two back moves followed by two biceps moves really gets the blood pumped into the biceps. At times I felt like my arms were going to literally pop. Thankfully that didn't happen, and I was able to complete the entire routine, right down to the killer strip set curls at the very end. Mercy, please!
Day 9 - Insanity Max Interval Plyo.
This workout is, well, Insane.
A nine minute "warm up" gets the blood pumping and begins what will be about an hour of constant sweat.
Shaun T gets us ready for the workout with a nice stretching routine for the next 7-8 minutes, then the real work begins.
It begins with four plyometric type exercises done in 45 second intervals, rest for 30 seconds, repeat, rest 30 seconds, then repeat again.
The same format is followed with four different exercises.
Shaun T throws in a final round of four moves, just to make certain that your are that much closer to death.
Looking at it written out it doesn't seem like much, but reading about it and doing it are two very different things. The warm up, stretch, workout, and cool down stretch clock in at about 55 minutes. Believe me, you will be gasping for air and soaking wet after attempting this Insane workout!
